Since
1969 this 8 hectare property has been in the hands of Klaus and
Christa Jüngling. These vineyards are well situated on steep hillside
sites across a range of sites in the Mosel. Paulinshof are the sole
owners of the Brauneberger Kammer vineyard. They make both sweet and
dry wines, specialising in the latter—80% of their wines are made in
a trocken style. These are unusually concentrated savoury, dry wines
with lots of flavour. I like them a good deal. The sweeter styles are
also very impressive.

Quite a firm, savoury nose. The palate is intense and dry with a
herby character to the fruit. Savoury and quite firm. Lots of flavour.

Riesling Spätlese Brauneberger Juffer 2002 Mosel Saar Ruwer
Apple and melon fruit on the nose with some sweetness. The palate
is rich textured with lovely richness to the lemony, melon fruit and
some sweetness on the finish. Lots of flavour here, and nice balance.
