My new book: wine bottle closures  

Just published: all you ever wanted to know about the important subject of wine bottle closures. Possibly the geekiest sort of book you could imagine, but it's an exciting time in the closures world and I wanted to provide an accurate, data focused account of this field: most of the publications and pronouncements on this topic to date have been from people with a vested interest, or who are championing just one closure type.

The book itself is written in an easy-to-read style, and provides some important background to the whole debate, with chapters on oxidation and reduction, for example.
