The Champagnes of Donson & Lepage
A micronegociant producer from the Côtes de Bar

Website: www.champagne-dosnon-lepage.com

Based in Avirey-Lingey in the Côte des Bar, Dosnon & Lepage is a partnership between Simon-Charles Lepage and Davy Dosnon. It’s best described as a micro-negociant business.

They own a couple of hectares of vines and rent five more, with a total production of around 50 000 bottles.

This is the southern limit of the Champagne region, and soils here are hard limestone with some clay content. The result is boldly flavoured, fruity Champagnes. All the wines are fermented in barrels, which adds an extra richness to them.

They are available in the UK from Roberson, whose prices are given in brackets after each note.
