Here's a short film from last week's visit to the new Fladgate Partnership (Taylor, Fonseca, Croft) hotel project, the Yeatman. It's an ambitious and exciting venture, and it's due to be completed early summer 2010.

Jamie angling for a free stay, judging by this piece of gratuitous publicity :-)
Good point, what about a reader's contest to win a saucy weekend at this gaff when it opens. Who wouldn't fancy a few days in Porto, for a wine and footy party?
Yeah - me too - who wouldn't want to stay here? I see Mr & Mrs Goode enjoying a long weekend here with Christian Seeley providing the refreshment...no I'm not jealous..really I'm not....
VN de Gaia is looking "a little scruffy and in need of a face lift."
Sounds to me suspiciously like the favoured spin for moving out the poor and marginalised inhabitants and doing it up for the benefit of the corporate rich...
.....and your point is.....?
This is a pretty shameless piece of promotion by Jamie Goode. I wonder what the hotel boss promised him in return?
Actually I found this really interesting having heard about it a couple of years ago. Porto/Gaia needs a really good hotel BADLY! I cannot wait to stay!
