The puppies have gone!
We're bereft. Our eight little labradoodle puppies have all gone, and the house seems empty. Even though looking after them was much harder work than we'd ever have thought (most of it done by Fiona, I admit), it is sad to see them go. The consolation is that they've all gone to lovely homes. You can review the progress reports by clicking on the tag RTL below.

Great pictures. They are getting big! Loved the video of them as little puppies. It suckered me in, I watched it twice.

your house must be stunned with the silence :) how is mama? is she relieved or looking?
RTL is doing ok, she seems to be back to normal again - and the house is really quiet!

Anon, those people are incredibly harsh and judgemental, and a bit dim if they don't understand the comments concerning 'cool' to be tongue in cheek. I can't imagine a dog better loved and cared for than RTL, nor such healthy, well adjusted puppies as the ones she sired.

I can see why you think that the people on Doodle Times are being judgemental, but you have to realise that they do a lot of work for Labradoodle Rescue UK, and time and again, we are up against people who breed indiscriminately.
A comment like "cool dog, therefore by extension, you appear cool", no matter how it was intended, is irresponsible and unneccessary. It is the likes of those tiresome, judgmental people on Doodle Times that more and more often, have to pick up the pieces when the cute, fluffy bundle turns into a massive dog, which sheds hair by the bucket load.
I think maybe that if any of you took the time to look at the rescue website www.labradoodle-rescue.com you would understand why we get so peed off with flippant/untrue comments such as that made by yourself.
