Really rich. Herby with a funky mineralic edge to the rich, bold,
herbal, slightly sweet thick-textured fruit. A big win. 90/100

Austria
Very rich, bold, richly fruited nose with a bit of minerally
reduction. The palate is rich and full with bold, almost spicy fruit.
Richly textured, this is intense stuff. 92/100
FX Pichler Smaragd Loibnerberg 2004 Wachau, Austria
Powerful, spicy, minerally flavours with rich texture. Rich but
some freshness too. Intense, concentrated and limey. 92/100
FX Pichler Smaragd Steinartal 2002 Wachau, Austria
Beautifully aromatic lemony nose. Fresh and full with herby depth.
The palate is open with a really rich texture and bold, herb tinged
character. It’s a lovely viscous yet expressive wine. 93/100
