A beautiful, affordable natural wine

Natural wines are often expensive, but frequently worth it. Here’s one that’s fantastic, and affordable. I can’t find it on the Oddbins website, so it may be a case of scouring stores to locate bottles. But this is a wine worth hunting down, I reckon. One of my bargains of the year, especially at the 12 bottle price (may be mixed) of £7.19.

Domaine Mas Theo Vin Vivant 2007 Coteaux du Tricastin, France
From Terroirs Vivants, 13% alcohol. This is beautifully perfumed: sappy, subtly herbal with sweet, ethereal cherry fruit and some peppery notes. Wonderfully pure. The palate is spicy, peppery and fresh with superbly elegant cherry and berry fruit. Finishes fresh. A truly lovely wine. 93/100 (£8.99 Oddbins)
