Yesterday was all about Champagne. And not just any Champagne. First, a lunch with Bollinger, focusing on RD (1997, 1996, 1995, 1988, 1976, 1959). Then a one-to-one with Richard Geoffroy, chef du cave of Dom Perignon, tasting the newly released 2002, with 1996 and 1996 Oenoteque. All these wines were fantastic. A great day.

How was the ’95 RD tasting? I’ve got some in the cellar, haven’t popped one in a while. Cheers,
Matt
Yum! Have never had a bad bottle of RD.
Yes, vinogirl, RD rocks
The 1995 was superb. Some preferred it to the 1996. Very fresh and pure with high acidity.
