Hotel du Vin, Cheltenham

We arrived quite late and decided to have food in our room with a DVD. The food, and service, is great - you get the impression from the buzzy bistro (and the 'metal' in the parking lot) that the restaurant is 'happening'. I had a brilliant done ribeye which I washed down with a bottle of Jim Barry's Coverdrive Cabernet Sauvignon 2005. I'd opted for this because of my current interest in the Clare Valley - turns out that it's a Coonawarra/Clare blend. Very nice, dark and intense, and doesn't show the 15% alcohol too much.
Now we're off to have a look round Cheltenham and find some breakfast.

Sorry I missed you J, caught the reds which were sublime - see you at L
Thanks for the note on the Cover Drive. I've seen a couple of those in stores downtown, so will definitely give one of them a try. (Besides, the name's great. Doesn't he also have another wine called "First XI"?)
The wine might be fine but at 15% I would find it more like a "Slog". (That's what is known as a silly point)
Jaime-
I have looked at that wine about 5X but never picked it up...I have hesitated recently about Aussie Cabs and shiraz in that pice range b/c they were beginning to all taste the same..Iwill give this a try and see if it has some original character...Cheers!
I would recommend http://youtubeconverter.info/ to convert and save any youtube video. This is an awesome service offered free of cost!

That sounds like a nice wine. I'm really getting into full bodied wines at the moment. The Full 15 is a nice drop too.
I have tasted this wine and it is great. I would recommend it to all
