Continuing the year…
April is the International Wine Challenge, which takes a couple of weeks – it’s a nice time of year.
It was also the Real Wine Fair, which is epic. Carla and Craig of Lammerschoek/Testalonga above.
And here’s the Noble Rotters, Dan Keeling and Mark Andrew. They may be UTD fans, but they’re OK apart from that.
I had my first Georgian Supra.
Easter was spent in Devon.
And we had the New California come to London. Sashi Moorman above.
May: the RAW fair. One of the highlights was Peter Wetzer’s wines.
And I went back to Canada, for a quick visit to Niagara wine country.
Once again, the obligatory flight over the falls.
Also in May, a quick trip to Lisbon for the Young Winemakers of Portugal tasting. They’re selfie-ing below.
June proved to be a great month. First of all a trip to Provence with a chance to sail on Elena from St Tropez.
Then to Canada again: this time the Okanagan Valley in BC. I visited vineyards and judged in the WineAlign Canadian Wine Awards, which was a great experience. We had a lot of fun, including some Nardini time.
The Okanagan is pretty.
And a trip to Alsace, which was – you guessed correctly – epic.
Some travelling companions.
I love Alsace. Need to get back there in 2015.
July onwards to come…
