Liked this wine. It’s an organic Spanish red from Valencia made by Rafael Cambra, blending together Mourvedre and Cabernet Sauvignon. This was co-produced with Rafael’s Swedish importer Nathalie Bonhomme. Interestingly, there are four labels for this wine, and each case has three of each: subtly but distinctly different, and featuring buttons. UK importer is Indigo Wine.
El Bonne Homme 2009 Valencia, Spain
14% alcohol. Sweet intense blackberry, plum and black cherry fruit dominates, complemented by some sweet herb, tobacco and leafy characters. Concentrated, seductive and easy to drink but with some nice structure, too. Ripe but balanced: everything that modestly priced Spanish reds should be. 89/100 (UK retail £9-10, stockists – Woodwinters, Scotland; Wholefoods; Wine Therapy, Isle of Wight; Reserve Wines, Manchester; Park Vintners, Wimbledon; Butlers Wine Cellar, Brighton; SH Jones, Banbury, Bicester, Leamington Spa)

Love this wine!
Sounds like a good wine that comes with a quirky label. Would love to get my hands on this.
Are the buttons biodegradable?
I’m Definitely interested in trying a wine with the Mourvedre grape. I haven’t been too keen on Spanish wines in the past, but I would be open to trying this one.
Unfortunately wine-searcher isn’t displaying the wine anywhere. Do you think it may be sold out entirely?
