The pioneer winemaker statue in Auckland

I was staying with my buddies in Auckland, wandering around a suburb of the city when I came across this statue. It’s a tribute to the pioneers who who helped establish the New Zealand wine industry by growing vines in West Auckland, and it’s to be found on the corner of Peacock and Anderson Drives in Henderson. The sculptor is a Brit, a one-time resident of Henderson, called Tony Stones, and it was completed in 1995. I think it’s quite cool.
