David Molyneux-Berry on fake wines

An interesting and controversial talk by David Molyneux-Berry on counterfeit wine, from the recent Taste 3 conference.

The really interesting (and controversial) bit is towards the end.

Please note that the views expressed in this talk are those of David, and do not necessarily match my own.

Fabulous, right on the money! He will hopefully with Bill Koch get to the bottom of this...

Interesting - but I am not quite sure what he refers to when he says "We will get to the bottom of this." Is he working as a consultant for the authorities and what is this Taste 3 symposium all about?

Can someone point me to the label that he talks about being his favorite bottle label design ever?

Taste 3 was a conference held a few months back by Mondavi in the Napa Valley - some wine content, but crossing all boundaries of art, food, etc. Didn't attend.

DMB is working closely with Bill Koch in going after counterfeit wine, and one individual in particular. Lots on the web about it.

I'll do some searching.

I should add that there's an interesting thread on this topic on the erobertparker.com bulletin board.
