I'll drink to that. Were that not the case my own humble region wouldn't be making a viticultural comeback after a knockout punch by that dreadful American Prohibition of the previous century. Plus I've been reading a fascinating blog by wine growers in Kenya, of all places. Climate worries, neo-imperial instability, fuel shortage--lots of things to worry about, but the energy and enthusiasm I've found in the world of growing and making (and drinking) wine keeps me optimistic.
