Copyright? What copyright?
Do you like this picture? I took it in September 1998 in Chateauneuf du Pape. Clearly one of the UK's leading wine merchants (or their web design company) did also, because I had one of those 'I recognize that scene' moments when
I entered their Rhone page this afternoon (see second picture). The fact that it's been modified (made to look like a watercolour) doesn't alter the copyright infringement.

Although it may seem flattering at one level, it's bad manners not to respect copyright, and frankly,in this case, it's downright theft.
They phoned me up, and have agreed to pay my usual reproduction fee.
