It\u2019s from Piedmont, and made from a very rare red grape variety called Ruch\u00e9, of which there are only 40 hectares planted worldwide. It\u2019s just my sort of style, showing elegance and aromatic interest, but with some edges too. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Montalbera Laccento 2010 Ruch\u00e9 di Castagnole Monferrato, Piedmont, Italy<br \/>\n<\/strong>Floral and aromatic with perfumed cherry, rosehip and violet notes on the nose. The palate is weet and pure with richness as well as freshness, and lovely cherry fruit. So pretty and distinctive with sole spicy richness under the floral red fruits.
