It&#8217;s cleverly branded, and the winemaker is Dermot Sugrue, a specialist sparkling winemaker who worked for Nyetimber for three years. Dermot is now based at Wiston Estate and does contract winemaking for a number of operations. I like this wine a lot, although it&#8217;s still pretty primary. Lovely fruity nose: appley with some pear and citrus. The palate is appley, rounded and lively, with good acidity. Very fruity, direct style, but with good balance.
