[I\u2019ll be writing these up in more detail, hopefully this evening.]<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a very good vintage indeed. Potentially a great one. The samples we tried yesterday were the final blend, but not final bottled samples, and some of them showed much more open fruit, with slightly oxidative development, which I\u2019m assuming comes from the sample preparation a few days ago. So I have given a range of scores.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wineanorak.com:\/wineblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/grahams2011a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7166\" title=\"grahams2011a\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wineanorak.com:\/wineblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/grahams2011a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Graham\u2019s 2011 \u2013 very sweet, open, pretty and floral with amazing presence. 93\u201396\/100<\/p>\n<p>Graham\u2019s Stone Terraces 2011 \u2013 first vintage of this new super-cuvee, and it\u2019s amazing \u2013 structured, powerful, yet still immensely pretty. 96\u201398\/100<\/p>\n<p>Warre\u2019s 2011 \u2013 sweet, warm and yet fresh with amazing purity, concentration and depth. 94\u201396\/100<\/p>\n<p>Cockburn\u2019s 2011 \u2013 noticeably lighter than the others with sweet blackcurrant and cherry fruit. Very pure and supple. 91\u201393\/100<\/p>\n<p>Dow\u2019s 2011 \u2013 pure, liqueur-like and bold with an enticing floral nose. 93\u201395\/100<\/p>\n<p>Vesuvio 2011 \u2013 very ripe, smooth, sweet and open with seductive texture. 93\u201396\/100<\/p>\n<p>Capela de Vesuvio 2011 \u2013 incredible aromatics of mint, liquorice and even a hint of pine.
