It&#8217;s a lovely spot, and in the morning I went for a run along the sea front, along a beautiful coastal path. His Hemel en Aarde wines are under the label Crystallum, and they are superb. The\u00a02012 Bona Fide and Cuvee Cinema Pinots are both quite different, but equally compelling, the former much bigger, denser and structured than the latter.\u00a0It&#8217;s a wine that I think will age beautifully over 20\u00a0years; the\u00a0Cinema is already drinking well and will continue to do so for a decade. But that&#8217;s just my guess. The blended Pinot, Peter Max 2012, is a really lovely wine.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6947\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6947\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wineanorak.com:\/wineblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMGP1221-002.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6947\" title=\"IMGP1221-002\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wineanorak.com:\/wineblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMGP1221-002.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6947\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Peter Allan Finlayson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Paradisium is Peter-Allan&#8217;s Swartland project, and the 2012 is big, tight and well defined, with a high proportion of Merlot. Fine leafy, cherry, plum fruit with some spice and a hint of mint. Nice smooth spicy tannins.
