It&#8217;s from Gisborne, which is predominantly a white wine region, but James&#8217; reds suggest this should be reconsidered.<\/p>\n<p>I love the perfumed aromatics here: it&#8217;s\u00a0a light, expressive wine, but there&#8217;s also a hint of seriousness. It&#8217;s the sort of wine that I am always in the mood to drink, and it&#8217;s good value for money, too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Millton Crazy By Nature Cosmo Red 2011 Gisborne, New Zealand<\/strong><br \/>\n13% alcohol. A blend of Malbec, Syrah and Viognier. Very fresh and lively with beautifully peppery, fragrant cherry fruit. Bright and juicy with lovely silky fruit (the Viognier here adds a transparency and openness) as well as some peppery, tannic grip. There&#8217;s even a hint of mint, too. Such a pretty, drinkable wine, but with some seriousness lurking, too.
