Some Viognier in the blend here, and it shows a bit, although not too much. Very fine, floral and aromatic with a white pepper edge to the smooth cherry and apricot fruit. Beguiling, haunting and beautiful. The palate is fresh and smooth textured with sweet, supple cherry fruit and a peppery freshness. There’s a hint of clove, too. Elegant, pure and fine. 94/100

Find this wine with wine-searcher.com

New Zealand reds are exciting.
