It rocks. And especially from Germany: nowhere else makes Rieslings that are quite the same. Here are two good ones, both new to me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pauly Lieser Niederberg &#8216;Helden&#8217; Riesling Trocken 2011 Mosel, Germany<\/strong><br \/>\nReally fine, fresh nose of melon, citrus and grapefruit. The palate is crisp and tight but also has generous pear, melon and lime flavours. Really taut and quite complex with beautiful precision. Powerful and concentrated with lovely lime, melon and spice notes. The palate is crisp, dry and textured with some honey, herbs, melon, spice and lime. Real intensity of flavour.
