It&#8217;s a beautifully supple, quite elegant expression of Pinot Noir from Chile&#8217;s Bio Bio region. It&#8217;s not perfect: there&#8217;s some savoury\/oaky character obscuring the fruit a bit, but it&#8217;s delicious and very keenly priced.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Corriente del Bio Pinot Noir 2009 Bio Bio Valley, Chile<br \/>\n<\/strong>14% alcohol. Nicely aromatic with a subtle minty\/ginger edge to the beautiful smooth, pure, dark cherry fruit. The palate is rounded and elegant with supple, sappy fruit and also a bit of spiciness, as well as a hint of savoury earthiness.
