It&#8217;s a little less strong than Port (16 as opposed to 19\/20 degrees of alcohol), but it&#8217;s one of the Maurys that have been aged reductively, so it keeps all its fruit. Sweet aromatics of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant fruit with some savoury tar and plum notes. The palate is ripe, sweet and quite structured with lovely plum and blackberry fruit.
