It&#8217;s part of an excellent offer of Iberian whites by the Wine Society, and after I tasted it I looked it up and was amazed to find it was under \u00a310 by quite a distance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marti Fabra Verd Albera 2010 Emporda, Spain<\/strong><br \/>\n13.5% alcohol. Beautifully aromatic &#8211; quite exotic even &#8211; with bold flavours of pear, melon and spice, with some appealing minerality. A really delicious wine that&#8217;s textured and fruit driven. I would have thought Viognier, but it&#8217;s actually a blend of white Grenache and Muscat. 91\/100 (\u00a37.95 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewinesociety.com\/shop\/shop.aspx?section=pd&amp;pd=SP6491&amp;prl=STD\">The Wine Society<\/a>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This has to be my best value white of the year.
