It&#8217;s a Morgon from Julien Sunier, who has been making his own wines only since 2008. He farms three hectares in Morgon, Regnie and Fleurie, working organically. Winemaking is traditional.<\/p>\n<p>This wine still tastes absolutely delicious two days after opening, so I reckon it has the potential to develop for a few years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Julien Sunier Morgon 2009 Beaujolais<br \/>\n<\/strong>12.5% alcohol. Deep coloured. Lovely sweet aromatic black cherry and spice nose with just a hint of funky meatiness, but this disappears after a while. The palate is expressive, elegant and spicy with ripe sweet dark fruits. Lots of personality here: a fresh, complex red with subtle earthy notes.
