Warm and spring-like. Here are two that I&#8217;ve recently enjoyed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fritz&#8217;s Riesling 2009 Rheinhessen, Germany<br \/>\n<\/strong>11% alcohol. This is what Riesling needs to do to revive its popularity. Nicely packaged, this has a pithy, limey nose with some ripe apple notes. The palate shows pear, apple, lemon and melon notes. It&#8217;s fresh and off-dry with a hint of sweetness, and lovely fruit. 89\/100 (\u00a38.99 Majestic)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trimbach Riesling Reserve 2008 Alsace, France<br \/>\n<\/strong>13% alcohol. A remarkably lemony wine. Lean, fresh, precise and citrussy with intense fruit and high acidity. Bone dry, with real focus.
