Their 2010 Sauvignon is quite brilliant, and so it was nice to have a chance to try it again here in the UK.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Iona Sauvignon Blanc 2010 Elgin, South Africa<br \/>\n<\/strong>Very pure, precise nose showing grapefruit, mineral and green herb notes. The palate has a hint of passion fruit richness but the dominant theme is nervy, grassy grapefruit and mineral freshness. Concentrated, precise and mineral with a degree of seriousness.
