Day 1 at ProWein was a busy one. This wine trade fair, with 55 000 attendees, is huge. It’s daunting in scale, so you have to have quite a good plan about what you are going to do next, or else you can end up walking aimlessly through the cavernous halls, and gradually lose the will to live. I had three seminars: two for New Zealand and one for Canada. The rest of the time I did some tasting of interesting things. Today, day 2, will be busier – four seminars to do – and so for now I’ll just post some pictures of the highlights of day 1.<\/p>\n
