I’m just on my way home after a week in California’s Napa Valley for the Symposium for Professional Wine Writers<\/a>. It was my first time at this event, which was held at the spectacular Meadowood<\/a> resort near St Helena. [Aside: Meadowood is truly remarkable. Luxurious, discrete, tasteful and one of the best places I’ve stayed.]<\/p>\n

I’m still digesting all the material, presentations, discussions and ideas that a symposium like this throws up. Perhaps the best bit is all the people you meet. I’ll be posting some of my ideas here when they are better digested. For now, just a few pictures.<\/p>\n
