Christian Tschida’s wines, from Burgenland, in Austria, are full of nervous detail and intensity.<\/p>\n

Shashi and Devendra Singh have a 4 hectare dry grown Syrah\u00a0vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula and their Avani Syrah is very fresh and elegant. The 2014 is delightful, and just 11.6% alcohol.<\/p>\n

Herzog are not your typical Marlborough (NZ) producer. I like this quite a bit: a Zwiegelt.<\/p>\n

Really liked the Stefano Lubiana wines from Tasmania. All good. This: an unoaked Pinot Noir with no added sulfites. Quite lovely.<\/p>\n

Architects of Wine. Clare Valley Riesling, Nebbiolo and Nebbiolo Rosato the highlights.<\/p>\n

Unusual but lovely. Richie Harkham’s wines from the Hunter Valley. Shiraz and Chardonnay (cloudy) excel.<\/p>\n
