Just back from the launch of a new book, The Wine Opus<\/a>. I’m too tired to talk about that now, but will report in depth tomorrow.<\/p>\n

For now, some pictures of the London skyline, taken from the 10th floor of the art deco Shell Mex<\/a> house, home to publishers Pearson (of which group Dorling Kindersley is part).<\/p>\n

Two are views roughly west, including the London Eye, Waterloo Station, The South Bank and the Houses of Parliament; two are views roughly east, including St Paul’s Cathedral, the gherkin and the City.<\/p>\n
