That&#8217;s me.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been writing about wine for a while now, initially online, and then in magazines, newspapers (I have a weekly column in <em>The Sunday Express<\/em>, which I&#8217;ve been doing since 2005), and books (<em>Flawless<\/em>, <em>I Taste Red<\/em> [won the 2017 Roederer Award for best drinks book], <em>Wine Science<\/em>, aka The Science of Wine [won the 2006 Glenfiddich Award for best drinks book], and <em>Authentic Wine<\/em> [with Sam Harrop]). I have also <a href=\"https:\/\/wineanorak.com\/2019\/10\/20\/the-wine-critics\/\">written a novel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also do lectures, presentations and wine judging, and have appeared a few times on TV (Channel 4, BBC News, Sky News) which is great fun.<\/p>\n<p>If you really want to know more, there&#8217;s an in-depth &#8216;about me&#8217; section on the main wineanorak site, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wineanorak.com\/me.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here. <\/a>although it is a few years old.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m very fortunate that I get to travel quite a bit, which gives me lots of material for this blog and for the main wineanorak.com site.
