Puppy update

All the puppies are gone! Well, we still have them, but they're all spoken for now, except for one which we're discussing whether or not to keep. We were worried that because of the economic downturn we'd end up with eight unwanted dogs, but it's been quite the opposite: we've had a lot of interest and have been able to find seven lovely homes for the puppies, which is fantastic. We've been overwhelmed that we can come into contact with such nice people merely by advertising some puppies on the internet.

And the poopies themselves? They're all doing really well and are becoming more adorable by the day.

[Update: one of the puppies is now available again after a couple who'd put their name down changed their mind. So we have a boy spare if anyone is interested.]

Since when was "poopie" slang for puppy?

I thought it was an American term for a turd?

Are you serious, calling him out for that? Get a life.

Seems to me that "Anonymous" is consistently negative, sarcastic and scathing and thus he (or she) has lost all credibility on any subject.

If a blogger adds the facility for people to leave comments, then they must expect the occasional post questioning something in a blog.

Do you not believe in free speech?

"Anonymous" you question nothing but simply insult everything - you should be ashamed of yourself and go get a life - you are a sad case indeed.

GX1, if you take the trouble to look at my original post, you'll find that I WAS questioning something, and not just making a sarcastic remark. I suggest you think before attacking others in future.

"Anonymous" - how much time did you take to reflect before hitting on Jamie about calling his puppies "poopies" and suggesting that this was an American term for "turds"????? That's real high-brow intellectual stuff indeed!!! Your comments are so impressive and thought-provoking.

Again, I wasn't "hitting on" Jamie – that term means something different in the UK to the way in which you're using it, incidentally.

The word "poopie" is a slang term for faeces (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poopie) and I have never seen it used as a term for "puppie" before.

You see, that's all I was asking. A pity that you saw fit to launch a vitriolic attack on me.

"Anonymous" you are being very defensive here. Suffice to say that it is very clear to us all that following several months of comments from you that you sadly seem to have an "axe to grind" against Jamie and, as a result, you have lost objectiviy and credibility.

Not defensive, merely answering your points, which don't stack up, I'm afraid.

And as for your remark: "very clear to us all" - I didn't realise you'd been in touch with everyone else who posts here. I suggest you speak for yourself in future, and not on behalf of others.

And one more point: do you really think that there's only one person on here who leaves comments as "anonymous"?

"Doth protest too much methinks" - you probably won't understand that - what's more, you clearly have far too much time on your hands. We await your next vacuous hyperbole on the main blog.

OK, one point at a time:

- Highly amusing to read your Yoda-esque version of the Shakespeare quote, but despite the jumbled word order, I did understand the phrase.

- Why on earth do you feel the need to use quote marks so often? That is just poor grammar. Quote marks are used to indicate a direct quote, and certainly not to indicate a figure of speech.

- I love the way you use "we" as if you're the official spokesman for this place!

I await your next post with interest – it's funny reading such lame insults from a person who clearly isn't that bright.

As I said, you really are a sad individual. Your rambly verbosity combined with your staggeringly pompous attitude clearly indicates to all readers that you are deeply insecure. I, for one, shall not waste anymore time on such an immature individual such as yourself. We are all laughing at you right now.

Play nice guys. I think this conversation has just about run its course?

OK, Jamie, fair enough.

I still stand by what I originally posted, though. I merely asked a question, and this clown just jumped down my throat.

No problem Jamie - the insecure "anonymous" loser doesn't deserve your time anyway - he is such a joke.

At 10:50 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I'm still right, though, aren't I? :-)

haha, great name, "Beavington"!

"anonymous" - why o why are you SO insecure?
