Big in Hermanus

Peter May (of www.winelabels.org) kindly sent this picture of my closures book (www.flavourpress.com) in a bookshop in Hermanus, South Africa. Who'd have thought it?

Question please not related to this entry..

I want to improve my tasting skills which are frankly very amateur - are there any courses that you can suggest to take please.

Depends where you live, David, but if you are in London, Michael Schuster's course (Winewise) is superb.

Jamie, when is the new book on "natural winemaking" coming out, the one you were discussing on the 3050 podcast?

BTW, I've just sat what I thought was quite a hard Wine Production exam as part of my WSET Diploma and I know your Wine Science book helped me with 2 questions - thanks!!

Colin glad wine science was of some use - natural wine should be out this autumn

Yup - Schuster's the guv'nor. His book, "Essential Winetasting" gives a flavour of his style - a pretty cerebral approach.
