A nice review from South Africa

Really nice review of my book on leading South African wine site grape.co.za. It's by Chris Williams, winemaker of The Foundry Syrah, a wine I like a lot.

I am fortunate to know Chris and yourself, and at the risk of making your head bigger than it already is,I have to agree completely with the review of your excellent book.
Pity it does cost so much here, though and someone is ripping of someone along the way,as I am sure you are not getting anymore per book sold here than you are in the UK.

It is indeed a pity that the book is so much more expensive here (and hard to find i might add) - perhaps the next time you come out here Jamie, you should stuff you bag full of copies and flog them off to all us wine geeks here in South Africa!!

We can work on a trade agreement that involves a monetary price as well as a fine bottle of South African vino!

keith and cru master, I'll make sure the next on is well priced in South Africa, too - disappointed that it's expensive in SA - I'm not making any extra from it, I can assure you.

well its not limited to your book which is sad....i have been trying to get my hand on the Oxford companion to wine here in SA and it goes for around R800.....if i get it on amazon.co.uk, its only R250!!!

book snad the likes are highly taxed!! but if there is a will there is a way!! looking forward to reading your book.
