Attractive herby/spicy wine of good concentration. Sees 24 months in oak, 10% of which is new. Lovely, rich nose with good tannins. Very good.

I Grifi IGT 1995
A Tuscan Cabernet with a beautiful nose. It is woody but savoury, with a herbal-like edge. Spicy and tannic; youthful with good acidity. Very good.

Merlot IGT 1995
With a similar, warm spicy nose, this is an interesting wine with a pleasant medicinal tinge. Dry with a good tannic structure. Not fruit dominated. Characterful.
