Christmas greetings dear readers. I am currently in Gerrards Cross at my sister’s place having a big extended family christmas, so I will be brief.
Some nice wines so far. Paricularly fun have been a pair from Champagne Drappier – the Grande Sendree 2002 and the Grande Sendree Rose 2002. Both brilliant.
Some great Chardonnay, too. Man O’War 2009 with its trademark matchstick reduction, and Warwick Estate 2009 which really impressed. From Western Australia, Forest Hill Block 8 2008 and Flametree 2008 are both great. More later when I have a proper computer to blog from – this tablet is just taking tooooo long.
