The Decanter Fine wine encounters are brilliant events - they're probably the best consumer tastings around. This May the focus will be on France, and for those who haven't yet booked their tickets the details are below (text is by Decanter). I'll be going!

The Great French Decanter Fine Wine Encounter

The Landmark Hotel, London NW1

Saturday 15th May 2004

The Great French Decanter Fine Wine Encounter
The event will bring together over 75 of the hottest wine producers from across France for a unique celebration of French fine wine. Visitors can explore the amazing diversity of French fine wine in just one day, tasting from hundreds of wines in the beautiful setting of the five-star Landmark Hotel.

A unique consumer tasting offering visitors the opportunity to taste their way around the vineyards of France from top Bordeaux Châteaux like Figeac and Angélus to the great star of the Rhône, Château Beaucastel. As always it is the presence of the producers pouring their wines in person which makes Decanter tastings so special. See decanter.com for a full list of producers taking part.

Decanter is proud to announce our all star line-up of Masterclasses at The Great French Decanter Fine Wine Encounter. Decanter Masterclasses allow wine lovers to learn from the experts at a tutored tasting suitable for novice and expert alike.
