A balloon flying over
the Yarra River, from which the Yarra Valley vineyard region, a short distance
from Melbourne in Australia, dervives its name.
The Yarra is already a well established region with a long history, but it is
now making a fresh name for itself with stunningly intense Shiraz/Viognier
blends. The Yarra also does good Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as pretty
respectable Cabernet/Merlot, together with some fine fizz..
